Blessed is the Nation whose God is the LORD

Our national election is only 30 days away and we are hearing nothing about moral issues. Barrack Obama's campaign has been conducted more like a Rock Star Tour or a Beauty Pageant Contest, and the national media seems to be just fine with this. Real issues, especially Christian issues, aren't being addressed and hard questions aren't being asked.

The Democrat party supports Gay Marriage, Unrestricted Abortion, Higher Taxes, Restrictions on gun ownership, Illegal Immigration and a Socialist Society where the citizens depend on the Government for all their needs. When did our country fall into this pathetic state where we no longer trust and depend on God first and foremost? Christians need to get over their ' I don't care attitude' and spend time praying about the future of this nation. Christians need to vote and they should vote based on Biblical standards.

Abraham Lincoln understood , just as our founding fathers did, that we need to practice some individual responsibility. A new government program for every problem we face and giving more of our hard-earned tax dollars to Washington D.C.is not the answer. Lincoln had this to say about a large and powerful Federal Government," The government that is large enough to give you everything, is the government that is powerful enough to take it all away."

Think about it, one political party controlling the entire government is not what this country was founded on. We appear to be on the verge of turning the White House and both houses of Congress over to Liberal Democrats which leaves no way to stop their Socialist agenda.
