God is still on the throne and prayer changes things. Bro. Noah Hutchins of Southwest Radio opens each program with this greeting. If Barack Obama is elected President on Nov. 4 the entire United States government will effectively be turned over to the most radical and liberal group of modern day Socialists to ever exist. These people don't believe America is a great nation and they certainly don't believe that Christianity has any place in guiding our nation. Most of our founding fathers had a profound belief that God had a hand in the creation of The United States of America. It is sad to watch a people who have been the most blessed nation on Earth willingly go to the voting booth and cast votes that result in giving up our God-given & hard fought for Liberty and freedoms. We have become a weak and ignorant people who no longer are willing to take personal responsibility, but take the easy way of depending on the government to lead us and provide all our needs.
It is even sadder to see Christians stop trusting God for our needs and daily guidance. It would be great to see Christian leadership in Washington, not to create an official religion, but to lead this country based on Biblical principles.
I hope this verse of Scripture will be an encouragement:
Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
