We woke up at 5:00 A.M. to 3 inches of snow and +17 Degrees and +2 Degrees wind chill. Left Minnesota and headed south to Iowa where the temp. dropped to +15 and a wind chill of -2 Degrees. After passing Des Moines we detoured to Madison Co. to check out the covered bridges. We also saw the house John Wayne was born in @ Winterset, Iowa.
