It seems the national media is smitten with the Occupy Wall Street crowd. They appear to be busy championing the OWC cause , whereas they have gone out of their way in the last few years to belittle and ridicule the TEA Party gatherings.
The OWC movement has plenty of filth, vandalism, drug use, disregard and distain for the police and for people who actually get out of bed and go to work every day and the message they seem to be sending is that other people and companies have more than the protesters do and they are demanding it be given to them. A perfectly acceptable cause in the media’s eyes.
Having attended several TEA party events, it is easy to see the contrast. Their rally’s are wholesome family events that usually begin with public prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance and singing of patriotic songs. The TEA party movement stands against over taxation, a powerful over bearing federal government and a return to traditional American values. They don’t want anything that belongs to anyone else, but to be allowed to keep the freedoms we were granted by our constitution. At the end of the meetings attendees make sure all of the trash has been picked up and disposed of properly.
With a national election only twelve months away, American voters need to decide for themselves who will be elected to the White House and congress and not be lulled into falling for the liberal message spewed out by most of the national media outlets. Christians especially should already be studying and praying about their involvement in next year’s election.
