FOOD STAMP NATION

Stopped in a Kingsport grocery store Friday; observations while standing in a very busy and backed up checkout line. Lots of young adults(men & women) with lots of kids and lots of tattoos and lots of piercings using their 'food stamp' card, and as we moved outside to the parking lot it seemed most of them had cigarettes to smoke. I have a real problem with free loaders who have the money for cigs, tattoos & piercings and zero accountability to those of us who pay their way. (I also know that having a tattoo or piercing doesn't automatically make you a bad person or a loser), but listen up people, if you have money to spend for those items then buying food for you and your kids should be the priority. There is NO WAY that 47 MILLION Americans should be getting food stamps, yet the federal government is spending millions running TV and radio ads encouraging more people to apply for food stamps. It's hard to have compassion for a blood-sucking leach. If you get hungry enough you WILL get a job ... or die. A government program is not the answer to every problem we are confronted with ! rant, rant, rant.......

 

 

From the KJV Bible, 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 : 10 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. 11 For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. 12 Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
