HAVE YOU EVER READ IN THE BIBLE WHERE GOD TELLS YOU TO JUST GIVE UP?

............ A nation in turmoil, led by evil leaders who revel in their sin and issue decrees and pass laws to rid the land of God's people. A citizenry oppressed and living under the heavy hand of an uncaring government. God's people attacked, ridiculed, punished and silenced at every opportunity. A nation that seeks new ways to embrace and promote vile sins. A nation that has turned it's back on  Almighty God and instead worships Satan and his demons. 

IS THIS DESCRIPTION OF ISRAEL IN THE 8th. CENTURY BC ...... OR AMERICA IN THE 21st.  CENTURY?

ELIJAH SAID TO GOD:

 1 KINGS 19:14(KJV) And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: because the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.

GOD SAID TO ELIJAH:
1 KINGS 19:18(KJV) Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.

Although these are bleak and dreadful times in America for God's children, we don't know how many people he has that have not bowed down to Satan and will be willing to rise up and serve Him. Is it too late for America to be saved from the terrible sinful condition we find ourselves in? I really don't know if God will have mercy on us once again, there is certainly no guarantee that he will,  but I do know this, we are not alone in standing for what is right and good in God's eyes. I also know that if you read the Holy Bible from cover to cover you will never find any scripture where God tells you to quit standing for the truth and give up. 

This is the prayer that Peter & John prayed when persocuted by the government leaders:
