Democrat Hypocrits ... Part 3

Part of the Democrats campaign to retake Congress in 2006 and the White House in 2008 was to rail against the " Republican Culture of Corruption". They showed no mercy in publicizing any real or perceived problems by the G.O.P. Of course the national media gladly supported the Democrats in helping to run the Republicans out of town. Some G.O.P. lawmakers did break laws in dealing with lobbyist Jack Abramoff. Congressman Mark Foly ( R-FL.) was tried and convicted in the newspapers for a possible Gay sex scandal and resigned in disgrace. A Democrat replaced him in the next election after running on a Family Values platform. Later, a criminal investigation showed no laws were broken and no charges were ever filed.

Now Democrats control both houses of Congress and the White House. They own Washington D.C. They gloriously ran the evil Republicans out of town. Now let's take a look at the Party of Change only two weeks after B. Hussein Obama has taken office and some of the key players in the political party that they would have you believe is as clean as the driven snow.....

1) Bill Richardson / Nominated for Commerce Secretary - He withdrew before Senate hearings began because of a Federal investigation about Richardson awarding multi-million dollar New Mexico state contracts to a California political donor who gave to both Richardson and Obama.

2) Hillary Clinton / Confirmed as Secretary of State. The Democrat Senate ignored the conflict of interest by her husband ( Bill Clinton ). The former President has received over $425 Million from foreign countries since leaving office in 2000. These are the same countries that Hillary will be dealing with as she represents the U.S. in foreign matters. She has pledged to be unbiased in her decision-making.



3) Timothy Geithner / Confirmed as Treasury Secretary. The Democrat Senate ignored the fact that Geithner had not paid $42,000 to the I.R.S. in back-taxes and penalties until it became public shortly before his senate hearings began. Democrats called this an over site by Geithner. Geithner is now in charge of the I.R.S.

4) Tom Daschle / Nominated for Secretary of Health and Human Services. Daschle had to withdraw from consideration after it was disclosed he owed the I.R.S. $140,000 in back-taxes and penalties and only paid the money six days before his hearings were to begin. Since leaving the Senate in a 2004 election loss, Daschle has made over $5 Million, much of it working for medical and health insurance lobbyists. If he had been confirmed, these are the same groups Daschle would have been overseeing and working with in forming new federal policies on health care.


5) Nancy Killefer / Nominated as Chief Performance Officer - White House. Killefer withdrew from consideration after it was disclosed a $946 lien was placed on her property for Unpaid back-taxes on two nannies she employed for her two children.



More Democrat Saints: Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon(Dem.). She has been charged with 12 felony counts of thief, fraud, misconduct in office and perjury.

Congressman William Jefferson( D-LA. ) lost his bid for re-election in 2008 after being charged with accepting bribes. Federal investigators found $90,000 in bribe money at his home hidden in a freezer.

Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevic (Dem.) Impeached by the Illinois State Senate and removed from office after being indicted by the Federal government for trying to sell the vacant U.S. Senate seat of Barack Obama.

And finally, Tim Mahoney the Democrat who replaced Florida Republican Mark Foley in the U.S. House of Representatives by running on a " Family Values Platform", lost his bid for re-election after disclosure he had an affair with a female staffer and paid her $121,000 in hush money in order to afford a lawsuit.

Besides winning control of the government, Democrats also now officially own the title : CULTURE OF CORRUPTION.
