National Health Care run by the Federal Government should scare you to death! When the House of Representatives voted last Sat. night @ 11:oo p.m. to pass Nancy Pelosi's version of the National Health Care Bill, they approved some things you won't believe. To help pay for enormous costs associated with the bill there will be special Federal Taxes enacted. One new tax will be on " Medical Devices". Two common consumer items that will be placed under the "Medical Devise " category will be TOOTHBRUSHES & TAMPONS. That's right, Obama is heading straight for your bathroom and he's gonna make you pay.
One provision of the bill makes buying a health Insurance policy MANDATORY. If you don't buy the mandatory policy you will be taxed an extra 2.5% of your income. If you refuse to pay this extra tax, the Federal Government can fine you up to $25,000 and give you a one year prison sentence. If you refuse to be forced to take part in something that is probably unconstitutional, you might do a year in a federal penitentiary.
How do the rocket scientist in Congress plan on paying for this mess? Pelosi says it will only cost $894 Billion. However the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimates it will cost $1.05 Trillion. Besides raising taxes on virtually every working American, they plan on taking $500 Billion away from Medicare/ Medicaid by cutting cost, waste and savings.Can you say, "KILL ALL THE OLD PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY COST TOO MUCH?" Since Medicare was created in 1965 it has ALWAYS been starved for enough funding and Congress has allocated hundreds of billions of dollars more than was originally estimated. No Federal program in the history of this country has ever operated even close to it's planned budget . Besides that, this country is BROKE! Until this year the largest annual Federal budget deficit was $400 billion. Obama's first year in office has produced a $1.4 Trillion deficit. We cannot afford another massive government program. The Health Care Bill is 1,990 pages long.This equal $2.2 Million per word. Congressmen who voted for it haven't even read it. No one knows exactly what all is contained in the bill.
This bill will become law if it passes in the United States Senate. A vote will probably be attempted before Thanksgiving recess. YOUR Senator must hear from you now! Tell them if they support this piece of garbage, they will be gone! Check out the web site below for more details:
