ABORTION - THGE UGLY, HEARTWRENCHING TRUTH

 Jeremiah 1:5(KJV)
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee ......

Any time abortion is discussed in public it results in a passionate, heart-wrenching outpouring from those willing to share their opinion.  During national elections individual candidates and political parties publicly  declare their stand on abortion in America. The national Republican Party stand on abortion is to oppose it, the national Democrat Party stand is to promote it as ' a woman's right to choose', individual candidates stand may vary from their political party, though not very often. Since the 1973 supreme court decision Roe vs. Wade, there have been over 51 million (51,000,000) legal abortions preformed in the United States. The nations largest abortion provider is PLANNED PARENTHOOD, which receives more than $400 million in taxpayers money each year. In their government funded clinics they preform over 330,000 abortions each year. They do provide actual parenthood services, last year they completed over 800 adoptions. The disportions of the provided services is obvious.  There is a misconception that the Hyde Amendment which first passed congress in 1976 prohibits the use of federal money to fund abortions, in reality it only restricts the use and as it is reauthorized each year it continues to get watered down, allowing more and more funding to be used for actual abortions as time passes.

There has always been and will always be arguments for and against legalized abortion. But the undenyable truth is that it leaves in it's wake a desolate path of emotional and spiritual brokenness. Studies show that rarely do those taking part in the abortion decision will ever be able to completely overcome the emotional pain and guilt they experience. Any women who has gone thru this certainly needs the prayers and compassion of those around her. Women's rights groups argue that men have no part in discussing abortion, apparently forgetting that a woman doesn't get pregnant by herself.

During every election I hear someone say that abortion is OK because the U.S Supreme Court approved it. I ask that you consider this, especially if you are a Christian, at the end of this life who will we answer to for our actions and decisions, the Supreme Court or the Supreme God in Heaven?

It also seems that every election someone will tell me that they know abortion is wrong but it is just not that big of a deal, we really need to be more concerned about the economy, employment,    national security ect, ect...... I believe this, if we lose our morals as a nation and continue to kill babies in the womb(this is according to God, Jeremiah 1:5) not a whole lot else is very important.

In the upcoming election I ask that you not only vote, but become informed about issues such as the promotion of abortion by the Congress and the President.

How long before God issues a terrible judgement on America if we continue to kill unborn babies in the womb?
