Democrats Move to Repeal the DEFENSE OF MARRIAGE ACT

Now that Liberal Democrats completely control the federal government, they have made their first move in an ultimate attempt to approve legal homosexual and lesbian marriages nationwide. However a big roadblock stands in their way. In 1996 president Bill Clinton signed into law the D.O.M.A. law( DEFENSE OF MARRIAGE ACT.) Clinton had to sign it, the bill had enough support that it was veto-proof. It passed the Senate by a vote of 85 - 14 and the House by a vote of 342 - 67. This law required the Federal government to define marriage as a legal union exclusively between one man and one woman. On 9-15-2009 Queer Congressman Jarad Polis (D - CO) along with Congressmen Jerrold Nadler (D - NY) and Tammy Baldwin (D - WI) introduced a bill called ' The Respect For Marriage Act'. If passed, this bill would overturn DOMA and clear the road for the homosexual agenda. A similar Democrat agenda called ' Hate Crimes Legislation ' would make it illegal for a religious teacher or preacher to speak out concerning what the Bible teaches about these sexual perversions. If this becomes law a pastor or teacher could be arrested and charged with hate crimes or discrimination if they take a stand for their Biblical beliefs. Remember, the Bible teaches us to hate the sin, not the sinner. The bill already has 91 Democrat co-sponsors. The bill also has the full support of President Obama. The following is his statement of support.“I stand by my long-standing commitment to work with Congress to repeal the so-called Defense of Marriage Act. It’s discriminatory, it interferes with States’ rights, and it’s time we overturned it.”



This is the opening shot fired by Liberals to attack traditional marriage and Christians in the Congress of the United States of America. Your congressman needs to hear from you now. Let them know in no uncertain terms that you do not support this bad legislation (Respect for marriage act )and you expect them to take a stand against it.

If we stand by as legal same-sex marriage becomes Federal law, May God have mercy on the United States of America, a weak and ignorant people.
